Disinfecting (Highly Recommended for Pet Products)
For an additional level of sanitation:
- Isopropyl Alcohol Solution: Disinfect by wiping with a 70/30 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water. Avoid soaking the item, as excess liquid can lead to deformation.
- UV-C Light: For a non-contact cleaning option, UV-C light can help neutralize microorganisms on the surface of your item. UV-C light deactivates the DNA of bacteria and viruses, making it a great option for germicidal cleaning.
Storage and Handling
- Keep Away from Heat: PLA can soften under high temperatures. Store your 3D-printed items away from direct sunlight and heat sources to avoid warping.
- Dust Gently: Use a microfiber cloth to dust periodically and maintain the finish.
